She’s too clean looking. The dreads are tiny. Where’s all the hair shit? The Ana Maria looks orange…. where’s the compass? No wrist wrap, no lace. Wtf is this yellow bracelet. You can’t call yourself anything close to Jack Sparrow, okay.

Ok, I like the concept of it but you’re way off…
You hit the key points but you still work
I know where you got your belts from and your baldric, I bought them once too and promptly threw them away; you need to upgrade
Like mentioned above; your dreads need dangles and charms and ties… It looks empty and it needs to be filled, quick
I have to admit, you hit the color of the boots right on and I like your choice too, very nice
I know where you got the sash too; again, upgrade… It’s ok because it has the original pattern from the first movie but now you’re crossing movie boundaries with DMC/AWE belts and a CotBP sash
No wrist gear or rings? Come on… Even in CotBP he had that stuff…
And brown pants… I’ll give you this, I like the choice because they have the feminine touch with the lacy part at the bottom and it’s a common misconception that his pants are brown but they should in fact be grey with brown or tan over tones… Like they’re really dirty
Also, your waistcoat is too light…

this is actually my costume. contrary to popular belief, when i put this costume together i wasnt going for an exact replica of jack sparrows costume. i wanted more of a ‘if jack sparrow had a younger sister, what would she look like’ type of thing. thats why there is an angelica-based shirt (one that goes off the shoulders) instead of jack sparrows. thats also what the dreads are so small. i feel like they are more feminine. as for the reason i chose to mix between movies is, i wanted to make it as if they were all hand-me-downs from jack. the hairpieces and wristbands including the ninth piece of eight are actually all strewn across the magic kingdom property (because i lost them) and since we put this together the day before the con, we didnt have any time to get new ones. all in all, this costume was WAY more successful then you are both making it seem.
